TORONTO--Panasonic Canada Inc.'s Consumer Products Division has chosen Palmer Jarvis DDB
of Toronto as its new agency. PJDDB takes over from TBWA/Chiat/Day
. Panasonic, also based in Toronto, was looking for one agency to handle both its battery and consumer electronic products advertising. TBWA
was not able to take on both accounts because of a conflict of interest in the U.S. Panasonic had worked with DDB Canada before it merged with Palmer Jarvis, and so was familiar with many of the agency personnel.
