The New York Times, The Washington Post, NandoNet, The Chicago Sun-Times, New Jersey Online and others have signed on to use Real Media's ad management software. Real Media gives away the software for free and then derives income by selling services such as advertising. The company sells national ads into 200 local newspaper Web sites currently.

Real Media's competitive advantage over competing ad management software providers is that it offers technology that's usable simultaneously at the single-site level as well as across a range of corporate sites.
