Paramount Pictures has embarked on an internal review of its advertising and marketing alliances and has informed agency of record Ogilvy & Mather, Los Angeles, that it will conduct an agency review. O&M will be asked to pitch. In a statement, Paramount President of Worldwide Marketing Arthur Cohen said such reviews are undertaken periodically and that studio is approaching a pre-chosen group of ad agencies. Foote, Cone & Belding is planning to approach Paramount about taking part in the review. Paramount is also reviewing its relationships with past movie tie-in partners, like Pepsi-Cola Co. and Taco Bell.
