NEW YORK-Jon Nesvig has been named president of sales, a new post at Fox Broadcasting Co.
Mr. Nesvig, who had been senior VP-sales, will continue overseeing all sales operations, including prime time, sports and the Fox Children's Network.
He joined Fox in 1989 after 15 years as a senior sales executive at NBC. In the past five years, Mr. Nesvig has overseen the transition of Fox from a fledgling network to a $1 billion sales organization.
Also at Fox, Ken Solomon, 31, was named to the new post of exec VP-network distribution. He was exec VP-sales manager at Twentieth Television in Los Angeles.

NEW YORK-Tony DeGregorio, who until November was exec VP-chief creative officer at Lintas in New York, has landed at TBWA Advertising in the new post of exec VP-executive creative director.
Mr. DeGregorio, 47, will work on accounts like Absolut, formerly overseen by Arnie Arlow.
Mr. Arlow resigned in May as exec VP-co-creative director and is now creative director at Margeotes Fertitta Donaher & Weiss on the Stolichnaya vodka account.
