PBS links with Reader's Digest

The Public Broadcasting Service and Reader's Digest Association formed a strategic alliance to develop, acquire, create and distribute TV series, miniseries and specials for initial broadcast on PBS. The alliance will initially will pool $75 million to develop programming over the next five years. The programs will be based on concepts proposed by public TV stations and independent producers, as well as editorial content from Reader's Digest magazines, books and home entertainment products.
