Pennzoil launches ads for new motor oil

Pennzoil-Quaker State Co. launched the first national TV spot for its new Quaker State Higher Mileage Engine motor oil Tuesday night on ESPN. Independent shop Tucker Group, New York, handles. Actress Leah Remini, who stars on the CBS sitcom "The King of Queens" and who debuted in the brand's ads a year ago, touts the oil's benefits for engines with more than 75,000 miles. The estimated $8 million media flight, which is primarily cable, runs until June. A separate Spanish 30-second spot for the product from True North Communications' Siboney USA, Dallas, breaks March 1.
