OBITUARY:

Al Samuelson died Oct. 24 in Evansville, Ind. During his 17-year tenure at Leo Burnett USA, Chicago, he served as both senior VP and executive creative director. Mr. Samuelson is credited with creating Kellogg's "Toucan Sam" and Green Giant's "Sprout" characters.
