Walt Disney Co. has put in its first high-level employee at Capital Cities/ABC. Steve Burke, the son of Dan Burke, former president-CEO of Cap Cities/ABC, takes the new position of exec VP, reporting to Robert Iger, current president of Cap Cities/ABC. Mr. Burke, a 10-year Disney veteran, was most recently president of the company's troubled Euro Disney partnership.

Dick Holcomb, founding publisher of Petersen's Golfing who was most recently serving as eastern ad director of the monthly, resigned to become the national ad director of Golf Illustrated, now published by NatCom. Tulsa, Okla.
