Lou LaTorre has been promoted to president-chief operating officer of New World Sales & Marketing, New York. Mr. LaTorre, who joined New World in 1994 after 11 years at Turner Broadcasting Sales, replaces another TBS alumni, Farrell Reynolds, who was promoted in January to CEO of the New World Broadcast Group.

Steve Albertini, 45, was promoted to general manager of Earle Palmer Brown, Philadelphia, from partner in charge of public relations. He succeeds Scott Franks, 43, now chief operating officer at Tierney & Partners, Philadelphia.

Lesley Mansford to VP-marketing, Total Entertainment Network, San Francisco, an interactive network for game players, from VP of the marketing entertainment division of Electronic Arts.

Robert S. Boorin to VP-chief marketing officer, Frontier Corp., Rochester, N.Y., from executive director and general manager of MCI's Prepaid Strategic Business Unit. Frontier is the parent of long distance, local telephone and wireless communications subsidiaries.

Sean Dee to global new-media director, Levi Strauss & Co., from VP-director of digital development, Foote, Cone & Belding, San Francisco.

Kathy Sharpe was named director-interactive communications, DDB Needham Worldwide, New York, from account director at Ogilvy & Mather Interactive.
