Richard Rivera to CEO, Chart House Enterprises, Solana Beach, Calif., from president-CEO, Rare Hospitality International, Atlanta, owner of 110 restaurants including 83 Longhorn Steakhouses. Rare Hospitality International Chairman George McKerrow Jr. will assume Mr. Rivera's president-CEO title on an acting basis. Also at Rare Hospitality, Lane Schmiesing, VP-marketing, resigned. No successor was immediately named.
