Keith McCracken, founder of promotion shop McCracken Brooks Communications, Minneapolis, is joining Dugan Valva Contess, Morristown, N.J., in the new post of exec VP-general manager. Mr. McCracken, 54, had relinquished his CEO post six months ago and was non-executive chairman of McCracken Brooks, which he sold to Bozell, Jacobs, Kenyon & Eckhart, a unit of True North Communications, in 1997. In his new post, Mr. McCracken will be based in Minneapolis, where DVC has an office to service its Pillsbury Co. account.

Barry Kula, 35, to VP-sales and marketing, a new post at outdoor advertising company Spectacolor Communications, New York, from director of sales and marketing. To the new post of director of specialized marketing: Jack Gallagher, 41, from VP-media sales, AdMotion; Larry Wolfson, from senior VP-sales, Dorna USA.
