Doug Powell, media director at FCB Worldwide, San Francisco, is planning to leave the agency to join an undisclosed Internet company. Mr. Powell, with FCB for 15 years, became media director in June, succeeding Ted Block, who left earlier this year. Last month, another top FCB executive, Kevin Dundas, exec VP-account planning director, left to join Saatchi & Saatchi, London, as executive planning director.

Karen Polsky, 31, to media director, TBWA/Chiat/Day, San Francisco, from the same title at Levi Strauss & Co. She succeeds Fred Sattler, who earlier this month moved to the new post of exec VP-executive media director at Doner, Southfield, Mich.

Joerg Dietzel, 37, to managing director of DDB Worldwide's planned Berlin office, from general manager of DDB's three agencies in China. Mr. Dietzel arrives in Berlin Jan. 2, to head the office being set up for Volkswagen.
