Paul Sellers, 47, to director of marketing communications, a new post at Hyundai Motor America, Fountain Valley, Calif., reporting to VP-Marketing Dave Weber. Mr. Sellers had been national ad manager of American Honda Motor Co. until a year ago, when he joined sports programming producer Intersport, Los Angeles, as VP-director of sales and marketing.

Peter Moore to president-chief operating officer, Sega of America Dreamcast (renamed from Sega of America), San Francisco, from senior VP-marketing at Sega of America. He succeeds Bernie Stolar, who left. Mr. Moore is credited with implementing the company's successful Dreamcast videogame console launch last fall.

Gary Elliott, 49, to VP-integrated marketing communications, Compaq Computer Corp., Houston, as expected. Mr. Elliott is an advertising and brand management veteran, most recently serving as president, IBM Services, Asia-Pacific, for Ogilvy & Mather, Tokyo. He succeeds Andrew Salzman, who left Compaq a year ago.
