Bobbie Gaunt, president-CEO of Ford Motor Co. of Canada since April 1997, today announced her retirement from Ford Motor Co. Since joining Ford in 1972, Ms. Gaunt, 54, has held key positions in marketing, sales and market research, including general marketing manager of Ford Division. She was the first woman to have headed a national Ford operation.

Jim Morrison resigned as president of L'Oreal USA's professional division. Also, Robert Cassou was named deputy general manager of Matrix U.S., the professional products brand L'Oreal acquired from Bristol Myers-Squibb Co. last April. Mr. Cassou was formerly deputy general manager-sales of L'Oreal's luxury products division.

Todd Coerver, 31, to group director of special projects, operations services, at Whataburger, Corpus Christi, Texas, from director of marketing. Also at Whataburger: Rod Martin, 31, to group director of marketing, from account director at Whataburger agency of record Square One, Dallas.
