LinkExchange, a San Francisco-based ad network, has announced the appointment of a sales director, Scott Laughlin, who leaves The Web magazine as co-founder and national ad director.

Netscape Communications Corp. Oct. 10 promoted Eric Hahn to chief technology officer and exec VP. Mr. Hahn, who was formerly senior VP-general manager of Netscape's Server Products Division, replaces Netscape co-founder Marc Andreessen, who becomes exec VP of Products.
