Priceline.com named Maryann Keller president of its automotive services unit. Ms. Keller will build the management team and establish contacts in the automotive industry to facilitate the planned national rollout of a car-buying service later this year. The service is being tested in the New York metro area. Ms. Keller joins priceline.com from Furman Selz (now part of ING Barings), where she served as the lead auto analyst since 1986.
SmartAge, a San Francisco-based company that provides services to small and midsize Web sites, named Doug Roseborough its first VP-marketing, from VP-worldwide marketing at BackWeb Technologies, San Jose, Calif.
