Pepe moves to president-CEO of Time Inc. International

Michael Pepe, 45, was named president-CEO of Time Inc. International, New York, from president-chief operating officer of Time Warner Digital Media. He succeeds John Markham, who left to join a West Coast Internet venture in February. Mr. Pepe will report to Don Logan, chairman-CEO of Time Inc. In his new position, Mr. Pepe will oversee all global publishing activities. Marty Gardner, president of Time Inc. South Pacific in Australia, and Hugh Wiley, president of Time Inc. Latin America, now report to Mr. Pepe, who plans to hire a president for Time Atlantic (encompassing Europe, the Middle East, and Africa) and a president for Time Inc. Asia soon.
