Pepsi Canada Continues With Merchandising Program

Published on .

TORONTO -- Pepsi-Cola Canada is continuing with its Pepsi Stuff summer promotion, in which Pepsi buyers exchange accumulated points from purchases for Pepsi clothing and merchandise.

The U.S. version of the promotion was cancelled in the U.S. because Pepsi was not prepared to meet excessive demands for non-beverage Pepsi products.

Jeff Lobb, Pepsi's marketing VP in Canada, says he is delighted with the program and will stay with it until its planned end in October. BBDO New York handles Pepsi-Cola Canada's advertising. J. Walter Thompson Toronto handles media planning. Media buying is done by BBDO Canada.
