PEPSI TAPS EURO RSCG UNIT FOR EUROPEAN, AFRICAN MARKETING

(Aug. 30, 2001) -- Pepsi-Cola International tapped Euro RSCG Marketing Services' KLP Euro RSCG, London, to handle its $13 million account in Europe and sub-Sahara Africa.

The Havas Advertising-owned agency will handle sales promotion, sponsorship, interactive and direct marketing and in-store materials for Pepsi, 7-Up and Mirinda in 44 countries.

KLP Euro RSCG won the account after a review that included incumbent Omnicom Group's Claydon Heeley Jones Mason and Billington Cartmell. -- Cara Beardi
