Pepsi tests its first dairy drink

Published on .

Pepsi-Cola Co. is test marketing a low-fat dairy shake called Smooth Moos Smoothies in Texas and parts of Oklahoma. Made with real milk, it comes in 9.5-ounce bottles shaped like old-fashioned milk bottles, and in four flavors: double chocolate, french vanilla, strawberry and banana. Creative for radio and outdoor boards from Tracy-Locke, Dallas, will focus on the adventures of Spot, a hightop-wearing cow who escapes from a cattle truck and runs off with bottles of the beverage. An 800-number will be available for people to get updates on Spot's whereabouts.
