PepsiCo Taps Debra Crew for New President-Americas Beverages Role

Gatorade's Sarah Robb O'Hagan Departs

PepsiCo has tapped Debra Crew as president-PepsiCo Americas Beverages, a new role.

Ms. Crew will oversee the Gatorade and Tropicana businesses in North America, the Latin America Beverages business and the North America warehouse sales organization and Beverage Growth Ventures Group.

She will report to Al Carey, PepsiCo Americas Beverages CEO, and she will be based in Chicago. The move coincides with the departure of Sarah Robb-O'Hagan, president-Gatorade and president-Global Sports Nutrition Group. Ms. Robb O'Hagan will become president of Equinox. In that newly created role, Ms. Robb O'Hagan will be charged with leading an aggressive domestic and international expansion of the company's brands, which include Equinox, Pure Yoga, Blink and SoulCycle. Another PepsiCo alum, Cie Nicholson, has served as CMO at Equinox since September 2010.

In 2010, Ms. Crew joined PepsiCo as president of the Western Europe business, based in Geneva. Prior to joining the company she worked for Mars as a general manager and CMO. She has also held brand management roles at Kraft foods and Nestle.

The company is expected to name new leaders at Gatorade and in Western Europe in the coming weeks.

Ms. Robb O'Hagan was named an Ad Age Woman to Watch in 2010. The Nike veteran has been instrumental to returning to Gatorade to growth and redefining the beverage into a sports nutrition and innovation brand.
