Petersen's 'Golfing' shakeup

Published on .

Three-year-old Petersen's Golfing said it will suspend publication until late April, when it relaunches with a May issue under a new publisher and seeks a younger audience made up of so-called "daily fee" golfers. John Marcinski, a 26-year veteran of Petersen and publisher of the magazine for the past three years, has resigned. The new publisher is James (Max) Lane, 33, most recently general manager of JSA Publishing, Los Angeles.
