Petrick promoted at WB network

Published on .

Jed Petrick has been promoted to president and chief operating officer from exec-VP of advertising sales at the Warner Brothers network. He'll share the No. 2 position at the network with Suzanne Daniels, who is president of entertainment. Both will report to Jamie Kellner, CEO of the WB. Mr. Petrick will now oversee advertising sales, standards and practices, research, TheWB.com and affiliate distribution. The WB hasn't named a successor for Mr. Petrick, but executives anticipate that it could go internally to one of his two senior lieutenants, Bill Morningstar or Rob Tuck, who are VPs of advertising sales.
