Petsmart selects 5 agencies to vie for its $25 mil account

Petsmart, the Phoenix-based pet supply retailer, named five finalists in the review for its anticipated $25 million account. They are the Richards Group, Dallas; Leo Burnett USA, Chicago, working with field marketing shop Moroch, Dallas; Doner, Southfield, Mich.; Campbell-Ewald, Los Angeles; and incumbent Publicis Northwest, Seattle. Select Resources International, West Hollywood, Calif., is the consultant. A decision is expected next month. The finalists also will be eligible to participate in a separate media review that will include media buying agencies.
