New study reveals Hispanic reading habits
According to a Hispanic readership study released by American Advertising Federation and National Association of Hispanic Publications, the average Hispanic reader is 42 years old with an average household income of $31,994. Nearly 41% of the readers surveyed own homes. The national average for Latino print media is 2.9 readers per copy; 10% prefer to read in English while 56% prefer Spanish. On average, readers spend about 1.3 hours with an issue; 76% look for real estate ads; 74%, attraction and event ads; 63%, food ads; 54%, restaurant ads and 42% travel ads.
