Say what you want about cutting out the pork. The National Pork Producers Council has opened a site on the World Wide Web. The site, mainly a place for council members to gather and exchange information, features the "Pork Connection," an online bulletin board costing $17 per month.

Guinness Import Co.'s Bass Ale is the sponsor of the Red Triangle Pub, a World Wide Web site offering historical and product info on Bass Ale and a gallery of images relating to the beer. Web surfers can learn about famous folk who drank the beer and view paintings by artists "who were influenced by Bass ale" (their words, not ours).
