An ear-splitting car stereo has Earth-shattering repercussions in a humorous 30-second spot breaking today from Pioneer Electronics (USA). In the spot from BBDO Worldwide, Los Angeles, a young man-who in a previous commercial sent a bridge writhing with his Pioneer stereo-unwittingly gets his music beamed to an extraterrestrial. When the music drowns out a friendly welcome from Earth, the aggravated alien responds by aiming a ray gun at our planet. The "Bridge" spot won Ad Age Best honors last year.
