Plymouth goes to the wall with ads

Published on .

Chrysler Corp. will debut its 1996 Plymouth Grand Voyager minivan advertising in several cities using a new outdoor tool--projection onto buildings--during Fourth of July fireworks presentations. The moving and still images of new 5-minute ads, running in the fall from Bozell Worldwide, Detroit, will begin June 28 during the Detroit International Freedom Festival. Showings in New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco will be on July 4. The technology is from Projection Media, a partnership of Gannett Outdoor Group and Advanced Communications Group, San Francisco, a division of Foote, Cone & Belding.
