PM buys in Brazil

Philip Morris International, Rye Brook, N.Y., said its Brazilian affiliate plans to acquire controlling interest in Industrias de Chocolate Lacta, Brazil's leading chocolate company. Lacta, already 40% owned by Philip Morris, reported gross sales above $400 million last year, and claimed better than a 330% share of the Brazilian chocolate market.
