Published on .

Online game provider Pogo.com unveiled its "charter lineup" of major offline brands using a new ad product offering it calls "intermercials." AT&T Corp.; Verizon Communications; General Motors Corp.; Hasbro; Intel Corp.; Nissan North America; Palm; Sears, Roebuck & Co.; Taco Bell Corp.; and Toyota Motor Corp. are among the first to utilize the ads, which the company is positioning as the Internet equivalent of a TV commercial break. The intermercial product is fully integrated and embedded within the game window itself. The company claims it delivers click-through rates greater than 3%.
