Political news Web merger

Published on .

The Washington Post, National Journal and ABC will take equal stakes in an as-yet unnamed joint venture that will merge their respective political Web sites. "We're merging because, at the end of the day, we think we'll have assembled the best collection of reporting and news on the topic of politics," said National Journal Publisher Jonathon Fox Sullivan. Advertising will continue to be sold both by ABC and National Journal staff.
