Poppe, Modem to announce merger plans

Published on .

Despite earlier denials, Poppe Tyson and Modem Media today will announce plans to merge their interactive agencies, as a result of Modem parent True North's acquisition last year of Bozell Worldwide, the holding company for Poppe Tyson. The company will be called Modem Media-Poppe Tyson. Further details were not available. As recently as March, executives at both agencies denied rumors of a merger.
