Poppe names new CEO

Poppe Tyson, New York, shook up its top management, naming Kevin C. Clark president-CEO. Chairman Fergus O'Daly will give up the CEO title and report to Mr. Clark. Mr. Clark, a member of Poppe's board of directors, was founder and former chairman of Cross Country Staffing, a healthcare placement company. In a statement, Mr. O'Daly said the move would "provide us with a seasoned executive who has the experience to manage our growth profitably." Poppe has struggled in recent months; it pulled a planned initial public offering and last month laid off about 20% of the Mountain View, Calif., office. The agency also suffered the departure of a top interactive executive, David Carlick, earlier this year.
