Porsche down to five

Porsche Cars North America, Chamlee, Ga., named five finalists for its $10 million creative and strategic ad account from a dozen contending shops: Carmichael Lynch, Minneapolis; Richards Group, Dallas; Leagas Delaney, San Francisco; WestWayne, Atlanta; and Kowloon Wholesale Seafood Co., Santa Monica, Calif. A decision is expected in February. Incumbent Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, San Francisco, parted ways with the auto marketer early this year after a five-year run. Porsche said the split was due to account operations differences, denying reports of a creativity dispute.
