Post cereals cut prices

Published on .

Kraft Foods is decreasing its Post cereal prices 20% and unifying its coupons for all cereals. The company said to simplifying couponing for consumers, it will accept any Post coupon for any of its brands, including the Shredded Wheat brands the company bought from Nabisco. "By eliminating inefficient promotion practices and reinvesting in the equity of our brands, we expect to increase Post's volume and re-ignite category growth," said Mark Leckie, exec VP-president and general manager of Post. Ogilvy & Mather and Grey Advertising, both New York, handle Post cereals.
