Poster publicity hires to drive U.S. growth

LONDON--Poster Publicity International, the U.K.-based "out of home"media consultancy, has recruited a U.K.specialist to help develop its U.S. business acquired last year.

Steve Ridley, previously managing directorof London-based Outdoor Focus, the posterspecialist jointly owned by CIA and Alban,will take up the post of senior VP, reporting to Andrew Korniczky, president of PosterPublicity Inc.

Poster Publicity is the reincarnation ofAirport Media International, bought by PosterPublicity from Avenir Havas in 1998. Clientsinclude Acer computers, Estee Lauder, Rolexand Visa International.

Poster Publicity operates in the U.S.,Europe and Asia Pacific and claims billings of $40 million.
