New postmaster general named

U.S. Postal Service, Washington, named Chief Operating Officer William J. Henderson, 50, to be postmaster general, succeeding Marvin Runyon, who retires May 15. A 26-year USPS veteran, Mr. Henderson was praised as "a strong leader with an outstanding track record" by the Direct Marketing Association.
