Career: Mr. Cook got his start at Disney in 1970 as a ride operator at Disneyland. From 1971 to 1977, he served in the theme park's offices in various sales positions, before moving to Disney's studio as manager of pay TV and non-theatrical releases. In 1980, he joined the Buena Vista Pictures division and eventually became president of distribution in 1988. He added marketing to his duties in 1994.
