Career: His first marketing job was at General Foods where he started as product manager on Maxwell House coffee, a post he held from 1986-1991. Mr. Berdusco jumped ship to Frito-Lay that year, beginning as senior product manager on Doritos. He became director for tortilla chips two years later and rose to VP-new products in 1995. Later that year he was named Frito-Lay VP-marketing.
