Career: Mr. Shapiro began his career at Yankelovich, Skelly & White in 1970 and spent 14 years there before becoming president of research firm ASK Associates in 1984. He joined Seagram two years later and served in various slots before reaching his current post of exec VP-marketing & strategy. He is a native New Yorker with a degree from Hunter College and a MBA from Fordham.
