Nabisco, Parsippany, N.J., named former Pillsbury executive Rick Lenny presidentof its Nabisco Biscuit Co. unit, succeeding Jim Postl. Nabisco said Mr. Postl is leaving the company. It offered no explanation for the move, which comes less than a week after Nabisco reported sales down 4% for the year ended Dec. 31. Mr. Lenny, formerly president of Pillsbury North America, is the second senior official named at the food company in the last five weeks. Jim Kilts was named president-CEO of parent Nabisco on Jan. l, succeeding H. John Greenaius, who left for health reasons. In its year-end earnings report, Nabisco said sales of the biscuit division were off due to slow sales of SnackWells and breakfast snacks as well as continuing problems with a new customer-focused organization of its sales force.
