Priceline and Advo join forces

Most Popular's WebHouse Club, which allows consumers to name a price for retail items and purchase them at local stores, announced an alliance May 10 with Advo, the Windsor, Conn.-based direct mail company that reaches more than 80 million households a week. The companies will develop Internet-based marketing programs to connect Advo's 24,000 clients with Priceline's Half-Price Tokens loyalty program, which offers consumers incentive rewards for purchases. Advo's newly created subsidiary will manage the alliance for the direct mail service group.
