Priceline.com founder to leave board

Jay S. Walker, the founder and vice chairman of Priceline.com, will leave the company's board, effective Dec. 31, 2000. Walker is dropping his board position to focus on the intellectual-property portfolio of Walker Digital, the company said in a statement released after markets closed Dec. 28. Walker recently assumed the position of CEO at Walker Digital, which invented Priceline's business model.
