Priceline, Shatner ending their duet

"Star Trek" veteran William Shatner's days as pitchman for Priceline.com are over, people close to the situation said. A Priceline spokesman said he would not speculate on Mr. Shatner's future relationship with the struggling company; his contract runs through October. The company is rolling out a campaign from Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulos, New York, that doesn't include Mr. Shatner, who gained attention as one of the first celebrities to appear in a dot-com's ad campaign. Hill Holliday referred calls to the client.
