Primus Online invites agencies to pitch for $45 million business

COLOGNE-- Primus Online, a Swiss e-commerce company, is inviting agencies to pitch for a $45 million multimedia campaign in Germany. Included in the pitch will be incumbent agency MO&O, Duesseldorf, and For Sale, Munich. Media is handled by MQI Mediahaus Stroebel, Duesseldorf.

Primus Online's Web sites cover shopping and entertainment.

The company was launched in 1998 as a joint venture of retail holding MetroBaan, Switzerland, and DaimlerChrysler's subsidiary Debis Berlin. Debis sold its 50% stake to BHS Holding, a sister company of Metro.
