Prodigy launches late-night programming

Published on .

It's Sex, Dogs and Rock & Roll at Prodigy, a new, regularly scheduled late-night program series. Tuesdays at midnight will be home to ``350 Dog Night,'' hosted by Matthew Margolis, an expert on dogs. Thursdays at midnight are reserved for ``Suzi on Sex.'' And Friday will feature ``W.A.R.P.,'' an online rock novel. All the features will appear on the Internet and are part of a new Prodigy Entertainment Programming unit, headed by VP-General Manager Jennifer Rogers. The programming takes the concept of scheduled online chats a step further. The goal, Prodigy says, is to generate a community that gathers together at specific times and ends ``the loneliness of the Web.''
