Prodigy restructures

Prodigy shuffled management and announced a restructuring Sept. 24 that will divide the company into three divisions. Russ Pillar, formerly managing partner at investment company Critical Mass, has been named president-CEO of Prodigy Internet. Mr. Pillar will oversee the original Prodigy Classic Service and Prodigy Internet service launched in 1996. Inder Gopal, former senior VP-chief technical officer, was promoted to president-general manager of Prodigy Solutions, a new division formed to develop and license software. Paul Tucker, former senior VP-international, was promoted to president-general manager, Prodigy International. Former Prodigy President-CEO Paul DeLacey will serve as strategic adviser to Prodigy Chairman Greg Carr.
