Progressive Networks changes its name

Progressive Networks, Seattle, which makes the popular RealAudio and RealVideo Webcasting software, announced Sept. 26 that it is changing its name to RealNetworks. Rob Glaser, chairman and CEO of RealNetworks, said the name change was meant to reinforce the company's product brands.
