Pseudo lays off 58

Published on .

Pseudo Programs, New York, a video entertainment site laid off 58 people June 23, less than a month after dot-com rival Digital Entertainment Network, New York, ran out of cash and was forced to close its doors. A Pseudo spokeswoman said the layoffs account for 16% of Pseudo's workforce, primarily in areas such as production. The firings are part of a restructuring by CEO David Bohrman in which the site will be renamed Pseudo Center and switch to a live, continuous programming schedule.
