Jean-Christophe Herail, formerly VP-strategic planning and media conception at Publicis Conseil, Paris, will take over the helm of Publicis e-brand, destined to be the network's main online and offline agency within the Publicis.Net division.
Mr. Herail is seconded at Publicis e-brand by Frederic Tresal-Mauroz,formerly of Publicis Technology, Paris. The two executives will head aninitial team of 10 creatives to handle two new dot.com wins for Mageos, the e-commerce portal linking dozens of Web sites operated by the PPR distribution group, and a new online project from European financial house Fortis.
Gilles Buchet, VP of Publicis Conseil, will take over Mr. Herai's strategic planning and media conception roles, and maintain his role as worldwide account manager for the Club Med, Coca-Cola Co. and United Biscuits budgets.
Net Intelligenz, a second branch of Publicis.Net created to offer advertisers tools to track references to their products and brands on the Internet, will be led by Florence Bonetti, who comes to Publicis from DDB, Paris.
Publicis NetWorks, the third branch of Publicis.Net, responsible for Web site creation and interactive marketing, will be led by Ann Kenny, who comes to Publicis from TNI.Ikonos, a Web design start-up bought by the French agency.
